Rectify "Protection Disabled" error message in Trend Micro

First, reactivate the antivirus security.
- To reactivate it, go to Trend Micro main console window and click Activate Now.
- Type the computer name and hit Next.

Second, disable security software.
- Go to the Trend Micro main window.
- Right click on a red-colored ball in the System Tray.
- Press Exit to end the procedure.
- Now, wait for the Tray icon (re-colored ball) to disappear.
- The icon will vanish once it is disabled successfully.
Enable the antivirus software now.
- There are different methods to enable it according to the Windows you are using- Windows 10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 7.
- For Windows 10, double click on the Trend Micro icon on the desktop.
- For Windows 8.1, click on the icon on the Windows Start screen.
- For Windows 7, click the icon on the desktop.
Ensure that you have updated the software to the latest version. If not do so in this step.
- Right click on the antivirus icon on the bottom-right corner of your desktop screen.
- Click Check for Program updates and you will be redirected to About Your Software window.
- Check for available updates and press Close button once the download is complete.
Next is to uninstall conflicting software from your computer. Clean all the Potential Unwanted Applications (PUA) from your system. Install Trend Micro security program again on your device.
